Six Roads Health Centre was officially opened on March 15th 1957.
Dr. Kenneth Standard was the Medical Officer of Health.

The Six Roads Health Centre was replaced by the St. Philip Polyclinic in 1987.
The Environmental Health department has the responsibility of the protection of the island’s health through a variety of preventative measures and strategies including:
The Randal Phillips Polyclinic is part of the system of publicly funded primary health care facilities in Barbados. The catchment area consists of both rural and urban districts in Christ Church, a portion of St Philip and a portion of St Michael.
