Community Nutrition
Nutrition services are offered at the Winston Scott Polyclinic on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Persons may receive a referral to see the Nutritionist or walk-in and make an appointment to see the Nutritionist without a referral. Appointments are made at the Medical Records section of the clinic.
Nutrition counselling and education is offered for various health conditions including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity and others. General information on healthy eating or basic nutrition is offered as well.
Persons with health conditions planning to see the nutritionist should walk with any current health information e.g. recent blood test results, blood sugar readings, blood pressure readings etc.
Community visits are also possible as needed or upon request.
